Colonial shuttlecrafts
are approximately 20 meters in length and used as both equipment
and personnel transport vehicles. Capable of flying both in deep
space as well as the atmosphere of a planet, these vessels are
often found zipping between the varying ships and vessels of human
fleets and space stations.
Colonial shuttlecraft
is capable of carrying more than 20 persons at a time in addition
to the ship's normal crew compliment of pilot and navigator and
can maintain life support for several days under maximum fuel
and oxygen reserves. In addition to its crew this type craft also
carries a Land-Ram troop transport in its belly which can be used
for survey missions on hostile worlds.
